No ive never given a cd with themes to anyone. The only place my themes are uploaded onto are Zedge, Mobile9, & here Esato. |

The seller is probably lying to wriggle his way out. In any case, even if he was telling the truth, whoever sold him the CD doesn't have the right to.

These are definately the files from Esato. All the jpegs that he has included so you know what they are, are from esato.com and the file names are esato files. Most themes are very old though and there are 163 of them.

Jc u are our saviour, any chance you could give me the link and i could go through some of the themes and find the artist or at least help you find the artists. Im sure downsie would like to help as well...

I just want to tell you guys involved in this to keep at it. As someone who bought a CD when I owned a P910i only to find out that the software on it including the games and themes were all ripped off from different freeware sites I really want to see the bastard stopped.
I really believe that this is another such situation.eBay eventually shut the person down so if they find out about this guy they will with him too.

Ok I have been in contact with devnull/devsmoothe, a couple of 2 year old themes of his were in that file.... and here is what he had to say:
Thanks for bringing this to our attention SE4NICK. I've taken a look at the linked file, and I found a couple of my old themes there. This is work I posted on Esato (and several other places) over two years ago without any kind of protection. And frankly I consider these pretty gone by now. They've been ripped-off so many times that I've kinda' given up trying to track them down.
It's a sad fact that there are plenty of idiots willing to exploit the works of others out there. And an even more tragic fact that there are people willing to spend money on something which is available for free all over the internet.
I won't be pursuing this any further, simply because I don't won't to waste any of my energy on these old themes anymore. But I fully understand others willing to see justice done. Take care, and good luck. |
