stick with the N73 a lil bit more.
and wait for the N81 or the N95 8GB

The N95 8 GB will be heavily priced when it launches and comes to India at least Rs 30,000 plus and the specs of the N81 dont seem to be that great it features only a 2 megapixel camera.....what quality of camera is that for a high end multimedia phone? |

| well i wudnt know anything abt n95 being slow but n73 i feel the sound output of the speakers is more than n95s,n95 inturn plays more clearer sounds at high volume since it has a 8 band sound equaliser compared to a 5 band equaliser of what n73 has |

The N95 has built in gps (sirfstar II) and P1 has not, but you can still use it with an external bluetooth gps.

What I meant actually was if it was possible to use maps or any application that supports maps which in turn use the internet(gprs) connection on the phone to locate places.I was looking out for such kind of an application for my p990.Any idea where i can download it from? |

I used it when i commented. Ah, i know, late reply. I still stick to it, however, that doesnt apply to n95 8gb(neither does n95 with latest firmware, but at the time), which i have had used over a month. |

I completely agree with this. P1 is GREAT phone. Especially if you mod it, you will find it much better than the others you mentioned.

The n71 and the e-series, or the Diamond, have their strenghts, though. Wlan scanning, better today- screens. Profiles.. Opera 9 on WM now (even if it's not stable). Better looks. ..They got different quirks, though. But I mean - it doesn't hurt to try them out before looking at the p1. Have to admit I was lost for words when I figured out the nokias /also/ have the kind of message- application the p1 has, of course.. Where you can't really use the imap folders effectively, or at all.. (automatically send to "sent" folder, or backup drafts on the server? Never heard of something like that!), or that you can't quickly mark messages as read from the today- screen, or move the messages around - or just delete the messages on the device without marking them for death on the server... On WM you'll have to use the activesync thing - but WM /also/ has that thing about not being able to store sent messages in an online imap folder..
It's a conspiracy or something..
