N73,P990 or P1i? |

I currently own 2 phones N73 and P990.In terms of battery life I find the N73 much better than the P990.My usage consists of making a couple of calls i.e talktie of say abt an hr on the phone, browsing for 15-20 mins and sending 8-10 sms/day.The P990 battery drains within a day while N73 lasts me for atleast a day and a galf or 2 days.I dont use wi-fi and 3g o my p990 as it has not gained much popularity in India i.e the country where I live.P1i has been lauched now at a very reasonable price here so I was wondering if I should upgrade to to the P1i...i mean is it really worth the upgrade? How is the battery life on the P1i? is it the same as that on the P990 or much better or just slightly better?Which is the best phone amongst the 3 for the above mentioned phone usage?I met install a wireless router at home in a couple of days so wi-fi will also come in the usage. |

The P1i is about the same as the 990 and battery. Mine lasts about 3days with light usage, mainly calls, so did my 990.
Each phone u listed has different strengths and weaknesses so u should check the reviews to c if u like the strengths and weaknesses the P1i will bring.
The P1i does not bring new features over the 990, most ppl say its what the 990 should have been from the start. Existing features are simply implemented properly or updated by the P1i.
There is a good video review on youtube, a 4 part series. |

Well, if you just make calls, text and browse a little the N73 should be just fine... The P1i is basically the same as the P990 but with a higher megapixel camera (not saying it's better) and smaller housing and more ram (making it more stable). So if the P990 suits you better then the N73 it might be worth it, although the P1i is not THAT much different from the P990. Just more stable and smaller.
I love the P1i btw, coming from a N73. Main reasons for me are the touchscreen and qwerty keyboard. But all depends on your own usage in the end... |

battery life about the same? P1i battery is MUCH better imo. My p990 never got 3 days, maybe a bit over a day, p1 gets much more.... sure you get 3 days out of your p990 do you actually use it or just let it sit there

IMO, P1i isn't much differ from the P990i, unless u sick of the multitasking keep on shutting down your applications, battery wise, not much different though i must admit, p1i is slightly better |

Decide whether you want touch screen or not, thus Nokia or SE.
The main difference between the P990 and the P1 is the form factor. If a decent qwerty keyboard and the flip are important then go for the P990 otherwise get the P1 as it has more memory.
Simple really...
P990i: A mistake, a curse and a disgrace So I lowered my expectations and settled for a P1i. I couldn't keep my expectations so low for a long time so now I have an HTC Touch HD |

The OP already owns P990i and N73, both being smartphones and thus capable of doing a lot more, than calling, texting and browsing, for which he uses them.
So the question is not, what he needs (the phones he already owns, can do more, than he needs), but what he wants, as he probably just wants a new gadget to play with (nothing wrong with that ).

Camera from the N73 is better quality wise (perhaps quality will improve in future firmwares though, I hope so) but the p1i camera is faster. About Music Player, yeah... can be minimized/ran in the background if that's what you mean... |
