Good!, dont give up

Hope this advice helps 'Dont look at your progress, look at the result of what you're working for' (dont take this advice the wrong way, just think of that when you get down)

You know what the best thing would be to do? Say to your Dad he can stuff his ipod, I think it's awful a father should bribe his son with an ipod just to loose weight. If you wanted to loose the weight for yourself, you'd do it, if you don't then don't. Why in the name of hell should you loose that much weight to please your Dad?

And I'm speaking from experience, I'm 21 and 19 stone, I make no excuses for it, it's my choice to be who I am, and I will change for noone but myself, it's as simple as that.

Meh, if you say so. Personally the way I see it, is if you need an expensive motivation to do it, you don't really want to do it.

Anyway, 50lbs can be alot or a little, depends how big you were to begin with lol

Fine, I just don't see it that way. Like I said if you need that much motivation to do it, you really can't want to do it that badly. Society had made people believe that only 'thin is in', when it clearly doesn't matter.

I agree with you mate - i aint fat but i can see where your coming from.

50 Pounds is alot of weight - Evil_Eye's father must be very worried about his health and wants to encourage his son to lose some weight for the sake of his health.
You say its your choice to be overweight Daduelus (sorry if i got it wrong) but your i think im right in thinking Evil_Eye is under 18 and if so i know my dad would be just looking out for me if he did this. I also wouldn't have much choice in the matter if it got to the point where i was Damaging my own health by eating too much.

My dad would 'kill' me if i smoked for example, so why would obesity be any different?

[EDIT] Just looked through the thread and saw that Evil Eye is 19 so that really Pisses on my bonfire lol.

Sorry, guess I've just got an 'alternative' way of thinking on that particular subject. I've always firmly belived in it being the individuals choice to be fat or not, and noone elses.
