@amnesia,

Rule of thumb. Backup/restores hardly ever work properly. Would you do and oil change, then use the same oil and filter again? Same thing applies. Do a fresh install.

@Dicky Snapples,

I had the same problem until I went out and tried to update via NSU rather than reading the website. Apparently the site has not been updated.

well, it takes 5 mins to lock on, A-Gps works sometimes (on t-mobile unlimited internet if it makes a difference).
I was on 3.5G as well.

Newly uploaded songs are automaticlly detected by Music Player, no need to Refresh Music Library.

Incorrect. When you go to the MM Menu, and then select Music Player, while it is opening (at least on mine) it refreshes the playlists. As a test, I added a few songs. When I went to play them, they were there. I got the "Opening" statement then my list of playlists.

The sounds were already there in the older software, as were the background images, and Image effects.

well how come mine doesnt refresh them for me :S

how did you transfer the files?

I plugged the phone into the PC with miniUSB cable, went to file manager in the PC suite, then i went to memory card>attachments and put my song in, closed the windows and disconnected the phone, then went multimedia menu>music player and it said opening then i went into all songs, it wasnt there, then playlists, and recently added and it wasnt there, i had to refresh manually, maybe i have to cnage the destination folder or use music manager?

i found a bug in latest firmware where the radio, audio only comes out of one ear and the other is very faint, however playing music via media player works fine. only way to resolve the issue is to turn phone on and off then the radio works fine again.

@A L 3 X,

I am on a Mac. I use the new software that Nokia developed to transfer files. It works great. It creates the directories and puts the files where they need to go. It will even include album art (I think). I am not sure how things work on a Windows PC though. Sorry dude.
