Oh this brilliant, the AGPS is something I have been waiting for. I can say its well worth the update if anything.

I managed to get a lock in under 1 minute....IN MY HOUSE...never happens let me assure you. I hear that it has solved the wireless issues though I did have some issues with my netgear router that stoped when I switched to Linksys. So I will give it a try later and see how that is going.

Took all in under 8 mins to update.

everytime I backup my phone though, it NEVER restores everything properly.
I don't know if I want to go through the hassle of installing all over again

Anything else new besides faster lock-on? I do not feel like upgrading cause the phone works super!

Upgraded via Boot Camp and no problems encountered. Here's my initial observation.

GPS
- Positioning Methods added Assisted GPS
- With Assited GPS enabled, lock time is now faster, even indoors.

CAMERA:
- Same
- When screen goes off the camera button (right side) flashes blue light, reason known to Nokia only.

GALLERY:
- Gallery opens faster. Thumbmails open simultaneously.

MAPS:
- v3.0 w23 b01.

SEARCH:
- Same version which is beta (update available at Nokia site)

WLAN:
- WLAN wizard added Filter WLAN networks.

THEMES:
- Nokia removed the Default Theme (plain blue theme), only 4 themes in this version.

DEVICE MANAGER:
- No FOTA (my N73 has this already with the latest software version, V 4.0726.2.0.1)

Here's my orignal post:

Can anyone tell me where to turn on aGPS or is it on by default?
Can other apps. (like Route66) use aGPS?

Thanks,
W.

[edit] found answer to first question - on mine it's turned on by default. would still like answer to second question though!
