Hi Miss UK,
Virtually any one you ask will tell you that is a waste of money if you decide to keep and and pay for it. Also it is rather pointless and the only thing you will achieve is to use up your phones valuable resources. Unless you just accept and install things without thinking about it or are using a lot of free stuff from dodgy websites you are really at no risk. This is not just MO opinion either but comes from many people far more knowledgeable than me.

... agree with dogmann - you're muchmuchmuch more likely to catch a problem opening a dodgy e-mail/sms/mms, and it does slow down your lovely phone!!!

According to one of the guys who presided over the choosing of the name wifi, it doesn't stand for anything, but is just a play on the term "hi-fi", and that "wireless fidelity" came into use after the term had already been chosen:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wi-Fi
Though I imagine "wireless fidelity" will become the accepted meaning.

You might be surprised, Miss uk! Bigger screen, far better battery, AND build quality.....even OLD E61(NON-i) has more RAM than N95(ask Scottt)....
....soon as it's back, my N95's going....and only E61i(maybe E90) will replace it!

Hi all,
I have to agree with Aware about just how good the E61 is as if i had to give up one of my devices it wouldn't be the E61. Even though it doesn't have an as powerful chip as the N95 it still does everything very well and runs my Tom Tom 6 beautifully on it's large screen.
The N95 is my Multimedia toy and for Music, Video, Web browsing and fun stuff and only carries Calendar via sync and downloads E-Mails, no office Doc's or Pdf's and no way would i use it for my Sat Nav either. What i am waiting for is the true E61 replacement that hopefully will have the new OMAP Series 3 chip and i only bought a N95 to stop myself getting the E90 which is going to be really expensive. N95 & E61= E90 plus gives me the flexibility to only take the smaller N95 when i don't need everything. As i always use cases that attach to my waist carrying 2 devices is no hassle and what i am used to as i have 2 Sims anyway. In fact i can quite confidently say the E61 is the best smart phone i have ever used and owned.
Marc

Marc,
Have you ever had the opportunity to use an E70? I've used both the E61 and E70 and I'd argue that the E70 is better, purely because it is more pocketable but in general I think the E series of phones are pretty spot on, never ever seems to be any issues with them at all
