erm only way to check it is to get the product code of the phone, and the one of the back of the phone and you will see its diff!

you need to use a comp to do it..
nokia are tres gay like that.
you can check your SW version by typing in * hash 0000 hash.
wheres a hash on a mac!?

Hi Fatreg,
Sorry to disagree with but on both my N73 and now N93 to see what firmware version the phone is running you just type star, hash, 0000 hash and it displays the information no PC or Mac required.

Music Player on that N70 looks just the same as the one on the standard N70 tbh.....

Right so after losing my N95 over the weekend i now have my old N73 and want to change it to the ME edition.
Has anyone got any instructions on how to
a)change the housing and
b)how to update the fw so its ME edition?
I have found that amazon sell the housing so it would be nice to get it from them now all i need is instructions oh how to actually change the housing and how to update the fw.
Any ideas guys? |

there is now a firmware available 4 the normal n73 that gives you the music player of the music edition and bluetooth a2dp without loosing the functionality or ve media key. |

yep there is no advantage of N70 music edition - the media player is exactly the same. The only difference is the music edition the media key can no longer be reassigned to other functions - so it's actually a backward step!
