hi have read somewhere that it is possible to flash the normal n73 to music edition firmware
does anyone know how to do this for free?

Yeah use the nokia software updater and update your N73 with he N73 ME edition firmware

I aint done it but lots have on howard forums, and what do you mean what feutures are lost in normal firmware?
The ME f/w just adds a new music player, with support for album art and differant visializations, and a couple of new themes....
I have read the ME f/w also takes up more memory thus making the phone a little slower though i could'nt personally say

I dunno about that, after reading more up on it i personally would'nt update.
A few people on HoFo have "bricked" there phones rendering them useless, also a guy on there who has spoken to some nokia guy from finland who says the f/w is extremely unstable at the moment....
