i like Piel Frama best.
I have send them a number of emails ... but was unanswered.
Any Esato members staying near them can help to give them a call to see
when they will be launching the case?

I always prefered a case that covers the whole device and without a clip for the belt etc. I know many stories of devices falling in the concrete or in a near by pool, just like my friend lost his P900 in the past while he had attached on his belt!

i love vaja cases and was hoping they would make one for the p990, since they have made cases for the previous p-series phones. however, they're not going to!  here's the email reply i received today:
"At present that model is not in our immediate manufacturing plans.

The grip is fine, but it adds a bit more size to the phone, off course...but i feel more secure

Just got my Krusell P990 case . Its okay, but a bit tight in that the P990 seems a bit taller than the case allows. But with the new FC functionality the P990 is fine to use when in the case. Cut-outs okay, but this is obviously at the cheaper end of the market for cases.
EDIT: cut-away missing for the screen lock/hold button!

congrats on your new case ( and phone ! )
Am still waiting for both myself ...allegedly arriving in the next week...
am a tad concerned about how you find the new krusell case...does it look cheaply made ? How does it compare to the equivalent p910 case - if you have seen that ?
I've been very happy with my p910 case and hope they haven't dropped their standards...
(BTW the flap on my p910 case also seemed a little 'short ' for the phone initially but being leather it stretched over a period of weeks to fit nicley ) |

I have a P910 case as well and the material and workmanship is similar. Just saying it feels cheap compared to cases I have had for my other devices from Piel Frama and Sena cases . Buth neither Sena nor Piel Frama make P990 cases at the moment. |

I am using the Krusell case with the two belt loops. Case never comes loose and takes the abuse for the phone.

I'm using the SE leather holster that I got for my P800 years ago. Fits snugly. (Now my good old P800 is naked....)
