Like many of you I bought a number of accessories for my P990 many months ago. This included a pouch style case from eBay. Now I find that the fit is okay but a bit snug. The tight fit means that the keyboard of the P990 even though it is locked the keys get pressed and the P990 screen switches on to inform you that the keyboard is locked! Now the keyboard backlight and screen stay on all the time as far as I can tell as one/two of the keys remain pressed - so the battery runs down. I have a TyTN and case for this seems to fit the P990 but again a little too tight. Anyone have any other suggestions for a pouch from another device that I could get hold of quickly?

Hi Jah,
IMHO you can't go wrong with a Krusell case they always give you full access to everything you need fit snugly and add virtually no bulk, plus IMO they look good and keep your unit in mint condition.

Jah, I have used a Krusell case for my p910 for over a year. superb quality, not a thread came loose. The only case I will even consider for my p990. go to krusell.com, it is the 'red label' case.

What about the original case from SE. I've used that for my P800 since i got it two years ago. Is it to small for P990?

I have come to the conclusion that a pouch type case can't be used with the P990 as any press of the keys will casue the backlight & screen to be activated. The Krusell case seems the bext option for now.

me i have the executive leather case from sony had it for 1 year and a half with my imac P910i, but still will fit the P990 which is comin...

its a nice case and even has a credit card pouch on the inside, so its a bit like a wallet but it also protects all around the corners!

rated 9/10!

I need a case, just like the original SE for the P910 but this time I need to be able to hook up the "wired" hands-free...

I guess thats another plus for TyTN (well... HTC derivative products in general actually) coming with a great case that is actually usable

I'm tempted to get the vertical krusell but it looks like all the ebay ones were sold today so I'll have to wiat for another listing

Shows that the TyTN is more complete package than the P990!

Edit: the Krusell vertical cases (custom for the P990) were pre-order items, saw that in the small print

I have managed to track down a krusell supplier in my country so will have the case soon even though only getting the phone next week...

Tried the horizontal type leather pouch but its such a fiddle getting the phone out.. with the vertical case can deal with phone and pouch one -handed ..

and the only scratches my p910 got wre from being in the other case ! The krusell one protects the entire phone corners and all ( helpful when dropping the phone into a handbag LOL yes I am a woman dont worry guys !!! )
