Well you could also say that we've got better things to do with our lives than to go to Nokia forums and badmouth Nokia or other phone companies xD

I think when someone just think about something in his own world and only he is the only correct solution provider

no matter what we say and comment is wrong, rubbish and crap to him.

MIB is the best example.

I am only giving everyone a better alternative to compare what is the hottest phone around. Krunsell is definitely not so accurate compare to what asia.cnet.com provided as they based in on the data from all three of their cellphone operator.

The key of this thread is to provide some cheerful news tht K800 gain its popularity fast. The link I provide give an example.

Who knows what's going to happen next month since N73 is already out in Singapore and most asia cities. I am not suprise 6233, and N73 kick K800 down

Anyway why all the fuss

read the news and settle with it.

All I want to say to those who character attack me is that you have a narrow mind and chicken heart. You have no guts to challenge my points and face the reality.

For the rest, me being here would give you an opportunuty to be better informed. Let me give you pan-Europe cellular statistics which better reflect the reality instead of the "jokish" leather case one.

The link is here http://www.cellular-news.com/story/16738.php

Extract:

Design innovation and the promising 3G user experience influenced European handset sales during the 2005 holiday season, according to Telephia. The company's Q1 2006 European Subscriber and Device Report (ESDR) shows Motorola RAZR posting higher market share in Europe, with a 6.2% share or nearly 5.3 million mobile consumers who bought a wireless device during the last three months purchasing a RAZR. This is up from RAZR's 3.1% share secured in Q3 2005.

RAZR's market share was especially strong in the United Kingdom, Italy and Spain, claiming a share range from 7.5 to 9%. The RAZR claimed a 6.1% share in its Q1 2006 report for the U.S., illustrating a global demand for devices rich in visual and technological innovation and creative design.

The Telephia European Subscriber and Device Report is based on a semi-annual survey of over 27K wireless subscribers across six countries -- United Kingdom, Germany, Sweden, France, Italy, and Spain. Since 2004, the report has tracked key industry performance metrics such as brand and device market share, brand consideration and retention, consumer satisfaction, retail dynamics, subscriber acquisition, user profiles, feature usage and preferences.

While Motorola had the most popular model, Nokia dominated total volume, claiming five of the top eight models in Europe. Nokia's 6230 (#2) series phones posted a 3.4% market share, while the Nokia 6101 (#3), increased two percentage points since Q3 2005. The Nokia 6630 (#6), N70 (#7) and 6680 (#8), packed with multimedia and 3G features, showcased the resonance of 3G devices and services in Europe.

The Samsung SGH-D600 (#4) and the Sony Ericsson K750 (#5), which are both two mega pixel camera phones focusing on superior multimedia functionality, grabbed a share of 2.2 and two percent, respectively, equaling more than 3.6 million mobile phone consumers who bought the phone.

"Operators need to have a more heterogeneous, segmented handset portfolio that balances consumer demand for reliable voice, innovative design, multimedia, and 3G capabilities," said Kanishka Agarwal, Vice President of New Products, Telephia. "This is a shift from Q1 2005, when the bulk of top selling models were focused on superior voice quality."

Handset Model --------------------------------- Pan Europe Share (%)
----------------------------------------------------Q1 2006 -----Q3 2005
1 Motorola RAZR series (V3, V3x)-----------6.2%----------3.1%
2 Nokia 6230 (6230, 6230i)------------------3.4%----------5.2%
3 Nokia 6101------------------------------------2.6%----------0.3%
4 Samsung SGH-D600-------------------------2.2%----------na
5 SE K750 series (K750, K750i)-------------2.0%---------2.2%
6 Nokia 6630------------------------------------2.0%----------2.3%
7 Nokia N70-------------------------------------1.9%----------na
8 Nokia 6680 series (6680, 6681)----------1.7%----------1.3%

Not surprising, the Motorola V3 and it's variants were extremely popular as for the other 2 Nokias they're lower end models that were made extremely sturdy. Most people that buy phones aren't really the peopl who go onto forums alot and ask for tons of cool gimmicks on their phone, they just want a nice reliable, sturdy phone which would reflect why the top 3 selling phones in Europe is as such.

@MIB

ok so you now have your info

The data can make me keep quite and show you do read more than many esatonian who rely on a few source. Without your last post, I have to agree with the rest tht you are just purely anti SE

I, myself do have my flaw too as information available to read is too much and sometimes not aware.

I guess I won't change my opinion on your post until I read your last post
Of course I know some will not convince since your data is pre K800 but at least to me, I know my remark tht you living in a small coccoon of your own is wrong and I have to say SORRY on tht.

@mib1800.

There you go again trying to pull the wool over peoples eyes.

From the info above:

The company's Q1 2006 European Subscriber and Device Report (ESDR) shows Motorola RAZR posting higher market share in Europe,

All this is only for the 1st three months of this year, before both the K800i was launched and before the W810 sales got off the ground.

The information we brought this thread is more up to date and more valid .

I suggest you come back when you find the same..

Leather case sales = phone device sale

Even Einstein cannot come out with such extraordinary equation. Believe what you want. Not that I care.

@mib1800

Like I said before, your chosing to ignore the carphonewarehouse link.

You, will always, always be challenged when you post rubbish and choose to ignore the facts.

3 different sources are indicating has 3 phones in the top 5.

Now go figure....
