@ goldenface - thats exactly my point, for which i didnt seem to get it across very well - the K series seem to sell better than SE's budget phones. Last year i thought i was the only guy in town with a K750i, then a month later everyone had one in their hands. Common.

I think that's a pretty normal development in the world of tech... People who usually listen to cds that come free with the Daily Liar suddenly think they always wanted a 60 gig i-poo-d (gosh, where were those musiclovers 4 years ago when you couldn't buy a decent walkman?). I know people here in ireland who upgraded from 8-yr-old nokias to n70s just so... They don't know gprs from gps or gdp... The other day i saw s.o. buy a blackberry at o2 - Turned out, he didn't even have an e-mail address! It's always been like that: people consume products for the wrong reasons! Don't diss the product, check out the buyer instead. Curt cobain despaired cause the assholes he hated loved his music... Such is life in the consumer-market-place! And if it upsets you that the masses buy what you like, well, don't buy (into it)... That's the only alternative, not crying for ever 'better' stuff (i.e. ExclUsive). On that you can trust maggflodd, on built-quality... SE! (Almost just kiddin') [addsig]
