Do you mean downgrading the firmware?
The process is not impossible, they do the same process as the upgrade except they use an older firmware version.
Do a search on the forums, i believe someone had his/her firmware downgraded already.

I've talk to the some employee of smartnet and also @ ericsson, they dont do dowgrading. Its possible but after they downgrade the phone some of the menus are not complete as is

Yes i think that they dont do downgrades @ service points? Why would they? (They download the newest software to their comps, so i dont think they keep the old ones, you can always ask. And if you pay enough they will do anything for you.) |

I have the same experience as Phrak.
I upgraded from R2S001 to R3B006 about a month ago and the phone works just perfect!!! |
