which phone was first one?
|

qtek 8310, but they have the same percentage.
2 arez: java application sucks in general nowhere is like using trabant as a car these days when someone wants to have expandibility chooses a smartphone.
music on 6230i and k750i are on par with the same headset. actually, SE sucks here another big time. SE did not manged even on the wannabe "walkman" phones deliver a proper remote control
even with basic nokia headset you can switch on and off the mp3 player or radio. you can swich among radio stations or skip mp3 songs. switch between mp3 and radio player. with the advanced headset you can have the station name (something SE cannot save ) displayed etc etc
regarding gsm arena, this rating table in particular is NOT based on any people votes, but it is a very sofisticated rating algorytmus
btw. it is also a peoples choice well, market says it too SE looses on market share, whereas nokia gained 50% of the SE production as a market growth
SE k750i is quite good multimedia device but it sucks as a cell phone
btw. the sales of k750/w800/d750 are combined almost 3 times smaller compared to 6230i.

--- is that the best you can come up with? java sucks so it's ok for nokia to suck at delivering a sucky function... wow so credible

----you need to seriously listen carefully the SE's have equalizers that actually work read this is you want to know about performance..
http://www.howardforums.com/showthread.php?t=839704
the nokia music player is so bad that you can't even create a playlist on the fly... you have to use pc suite.. now that is sad...
what headset are you refering to that has all these functions?
nokia hs-3, hdw-3, and the HS-23 ---all don't do jack either.. at least SE gives you a 3.5 adapter
you're delusional dude... i understand if you prefer nokia.. but the things that you claim are superior clearly aren't

the problem with SE k750i fans is that they are just like the phone they worship ... they are also dumb
yes, java application suck. and some sort of "multitasking" is like someone want to use old beetle on a race .. it sucks nokia has got symbian for it
if anyone asks for expandibility, the smart way is to buy a smartphone (does not matter whether powerd with windows, symbian, linux etc )
I was referring to any given nokia headset. with nokia AD-46 or HS-20 you have got the very same 3,5mm jack and you still have the superior remote control, something SE still does not have
the problem with "dumb" SE k750i and some of its worshipers is that they don't understand what is a multimedia device and what is a cell phone
but let's make it clear. the multimedia part is quite OK on k750i, the camera is so far the best 2mpix, but the rest sucks a big time

java on symbian isn't that great.. also the nokia 6680/2 were plagued with memory problems which cause apps to run half-assed and crash.. opera, snes emulator, so it's multitasking in all honesty was quite a bit of a let down for me.. now the 6620 (north american, 6600) was a multi-tasking champ.
HS-20-never seen this one before is it even released?
speaking from a pure phone perspective.. i find that SE's have better talk time and speakerphone funtionality. the only thing they don't have is green and red keys for you people that get confused so easily.
call quality and reception the nokia's are top notch (but only the non-symbian versions.) my 6682 was not that great in rf.. the z520 and w600 easily beat it in the rf department... the k750i however is a weak rf performer
6230(i)(b) all fantastic in the rf department but i found the earpiece too harsh sounding.

who is going to use java application on symbian ?!? when there are way way way better symbian application, that java application does not even come close
regarding problems with 6680. well I did not notice any. I have 6680, 6681 and N70 right now and none of them had any problems and I use them quite intesively. from papyrus through snes games (civilization) through c2doom to navigation ... no problem at all ..
HS-20 is released as well as AD-46.

that's such i weak arguement... it's like saying who will use nokia since SE is so much better... lol
also java is more popular then symbian so nokia ignoring it will only shoot themselves in the foot
also if you looks at all the symbian ports to java you would see that symbian games aren't that much better...
vnes is a great example

It really amazes me the limits these nokia-losers-fans can go to.
I mean, taking the time to write ALL what he wrote about that 6230 phone and calling the K750 mediocre?? Please!!!
Do you think I'd spend my precious time posting on nokia threads/pages about the quality/advantages of a ??
I don't even know if there are any such pages... and I won't even bother to look for them, because I just don't care... I'm just happy on being part of the esato community and come here to get the latest news and tips.
Aquilla, if you are so confident about the superiority of the oh-so-popular-it-makes-me-wanna-puke 6230 why do you even bother or WASTE so much of your time taking the time to 1) start this thread and 2) replying to the dozens of comments left by others...
If someone offers you a life: take it!!

@aquila, most of us here like SE. We don't care about surveys, because surveys are based on other users' experiences. We've used SE products ourselves extensively, first-hand. So we'll be our own judge.
A mobile phone is an important tool. If a person has a phone, regardless of the brand, he should already be glad that he has one, because it has become a necessity.
However, I think most SE fans here will agree that SE phones somehow have transcended being just a tool. We cherish them for those little features that only an experienced SE user can understand.
But then again, some Nokia fans may feel the same fondness for their units. It's just as well; a matter of taste, a matter of UI preference. (All modern high-end phones are rich in feature, regardless of manufacturer.)
No need for an argument I think. |
