well, on certain sites they claim it was k750i and its clones but its rather a wish then reality

---
The high end Nokia 6230 and Nokia 6230i were Nokia's highest revenue generating phones in 2005. These two products were also the industry's best selling devices in Europe during each month of the year. By the end of 2005, our combined cumulative volumes of the two devices had reached approximately 25 million units.

That dont really come as a surprise tbh, everyone i speak to and see who dont want to spend a massive amount of money on a phone end up getting a 6230. I guess its the size of the phone that also attracts so many ppl

Yes it doesnt surprise me either, this phone is very ideal to many of the cellphone users because of the size and specification.

Doesn't really suprise me either. Even though everybody knows that the K750 is superior, Nokia's brand name is a big seller.

Yep, it's an average phone for average people who don't dare be different.

Did you guys notice that the source for this info was Nokia.

I was banned from mobile review because I posted this very evidence and eldar did not like it that his very much beloved SE k750i is not best seller as he claimed

he even erased this thread twice

btw. k750i has only one advantage over 6230i and that is an excepcionaly good camera for a cell phone. but other then then the phone is mediorace.

6230i has got better address book, way better PIM (calendar, notes, wallet etc) and synchronization with MS outlook, has got EDGE built in, usb mass storage ...

I have to say, my wife has the 6230i and compared to the K750, well,

The UI is way to slow
You have to press to many buttons to get to anything through th UI
The screen is to small
The screen is not as bright or colourful
The sound quality is worse than the K750
The BT is crippled, in so far as you can do much more with the K750 once set up on the pc
On the up side though, you can use your own recorded 3gp movies as screen savers

These are just my own personal views and I am not biased one way or another, niether is my wife, a phone is a phone.
However my wife does keep asking to swap her 6230i for my S700.
Brought to you straight from the event horizon of a quantum singularity.

Here we go again:

k750 OS is faster and looks better
EDGE donīt mean shit for lots of people LOL
Crappy non-s60 nokias canīt minimize java apps, and have stupid 500kbs limit for java apps...even k700 hasnīt this problems
Both radio and mp3 sound better on k750
k750, like all SE phones, sync perfectly with Outlook
Plus all the things Del mentioned

Ppl, now youīre seeing the true aquilla
