K310i is black with some silver (fe. buttons) and it suits to what CyberVisitor said in first post in this topic. So he probably was talking about K310i, not K510i.

The black (dark grey) phone with the silver keys is the K510. What can't be seen on the pictures are that the phone also is silver in the sides - very nice looking when you have it in your hands!
The white/silver is a new "J" model. I also had that in my hands. It's cheaper. Only got a VGA camera. It's silver in the front and back but the sides are white. You can change cover on this model as well (both front and back). |

The K310i is a copy of the K500i, so it has 128x160 pixel display along with the VGA camera. The K510i has 1.3 MP camera and better display.
As far as I know alld evices with 5xx indexes and up will have expandable memory from now on. |

what is the silver one next to the W900i. It's similar to the K800i but the screen seems smaller though!

I think SE tries to keep things from leaking, but the problem is that many of the designers seems to be young people who don't understand the importance of it. I saw the two phones the other day while sitting on a train in Sweden. A person sitting close to me had both phones and claimed working as a designer for SE.
Last year, a week before the K750 was announced, the same thing happended. A fellow was sitting on the train to the town of SE in Sweden and was playing around with a phone I've never seen before. He just laughed when I asked him what it was, but he didn't try not to show it to people sitting next to him. The person the other day was more friendly and showed me the two phones pretty much.
And yesterday, in the town of SE, I saw two men in suits in a restaurant with a W810. They showed the W810 pretty happily since it kept ringing and ringing in it while a lot of people was looking at it. |

i think they shouldnt let phones go out of the lab before they r announced.major releases like the k800,p series,m 600,walkman phones should be guarded well...coz its their sale which help the company.is the leaks r out,other manufactures will start work on its competetion soon.
when they announced k610,m600,w950,they were compleaty new to us.everyone was visiting se website for pictures,info etc...
but earlier when k750 as announced,all that everyone wanted to know was wats it gonna be called...coz everthing else was already out. |

I agree with you, but on the other hand: If it comes out just a few days before the announcement that they will realease a new phone and a few specifications are revealed at that time because a person saw the phone on a table in a train or something, it can't hardly benefit the competition. If pictures and specifications are revealed during the development of the phone, then you are correct.
I can't walk around with my eyes closed just in case someone has a product in their hand that I aint supposed to see! And if I do see it - it's not my fault anyway! I'm not hired by SE, so if a person shows me a new product, then I'm allowed to say so! The main question here is why people at SE show products not yet announced! |
