Sony Ericsson announces K510 next week |

Next week Sony Ericsson will announce the K510.
Mainly black color with a little silver in it. Very stylish. Small - even smaller and lighter than a T610. Solid build quality. It has a 1.3 mega pixel camera. No radio, but mp3 player. No memory slot though.
Sorry, no pictures - but I can tell you that the phone is very stylish.

What nonsense is this of "no radio"? The least they could do is put the K700's features in this "new phone".

Yes I have seen it! I also played with it for a while. It's a low budget phone (less than 150 euros). What impressed me most was the design and build quality. |

Isn't this the phone that a se-nse person was talking about?
He said that the phone would be marketed as the direct successor to the k700 and that it would be avaliable in black! |

No, this is a model below the K700... no radio etc.
I'd say it's something between todays K300 and a K700. It's actually an upgraded K500 People are gonna love the size of it! |

I forgot to say:
It has an activity button on the side of the phone! Seems like all new models will implement the activity button from now on, if it can't fit somewhere on the front side they place it on the side now.
It has an ordinary joystick just as old models... not the new touch pad.
It's possible to change the housing on this model, both front and back. It comes with a black/silver as standard. I saw a cover in purple also though, but that one was an extra cover, not standard. |
