Your 16 and you have had 12 phones, there is something very wrong there.

Sorry for PM Twix....

I've had way over 80 phones, what's the problem there?

You're a freak, thats the problem.

I change my phone every 6 months. This guy must be a bit of a geek lol!!!

LoL, that's a laugh

Thank you for the accusation though!!

I've had 80 phones because I generally get bored, sell and make more money, usually I have at least 20 phones at any one time, although those 20 used to change frequently a year ago...

I'm now exploring the /// + SE range as I used to (and still do slightly) despise the SE range, never used to like the UI.

I pay for all these myself and phones bought and sold are usually at a profit or break even so i have more money to play with...

My parents have only partly bought one phone and bought one outright for me. My first phone, the 5110 was bought for me with some birthday money too and a 3510 I was bought as part of a bribe of moving house 3 years ago... The rest of the phones have been bought by me.

I've had Ericssons, LGs, Motorolas, Nokias, Philips, Samsungs, Siemens, SE and more.

Sorry for going off topic. But I'm not a geek, just a mobile enthusiast.

Yer well done mr sensible. (ok he edited his post to remove the insults)

Back to topic i think.....

I would certainly take tranquils advice, at that age i knew what i liked and what i wanted.

Take them into a shop or bring home a magazine form a phone shop and show them, it mite sound silly but gettting a nice phone when i was 16 really made me look after it i was always clumsey but having something you choose and really like makes you take that bit more responsibility and that little bit more care.

Good luck

Im 17 and have owned a T300, P800, and now P910i! I think the P910i would be the best choise if you have a kid like me.....

But it's pretty expensive tho, so maby you would need to let them buy a P910i by them self, like I do. I buy all my phones/gadgets myslef.......
P800 - P910i - P1i - and some non-P phones...

Wow, a lot of Halloween hangover!

I would also recommend the SE-Z520 for the little lady and a W550 for the little-gentleman. I think they're appropriate in terms of design, functionality and price.
resistance is futile.

P910?

Are you mad?

I never knew there were so many geeks around on Esato. Get them a 6230i or E720 or Z520 or T630 or K700. K750 is breakable, W550 is annoying to use, P910 is huge, for saddos that like to tap (obviously theyre useful for businessmen). [addsig]

At the age of 15 and 17 they best choose their phones themselves.
Take them to the store, set a celing on the price and ask them to take a pick.
I believe that if you show up with two phones for them at home they are bound to compain one way or another. At thet age they are hard to please if they don't get a wee say in it.

@best_phones - This I guess would be the BEST ideal thing to do! No more surprises, wrapping up things will just be a waste of time, maybe for kids aged: 3-12, but your kids are teenagers now. Good luck ! [addsig]
