I do believe sony ericsson will have some secret cool phones to be launch......the reason why they cancelled the Z700..........maybe they gonna come up with a 4096 colour screen version of Z700 with memory stick slot for playing Mp3......then its surely the coolest phone !!!!!!!!

I see nothing strange in Nokias way of releasing new phones which is basically an old phone in a new casing. Design is the thing that matters the most when people buy new phones, not it's functions. Releasing the same phone over and over again but with a new look and size definitely gets more market share than SE:s strategy of presenting one new phone every quarter.

Altho its true that nokia always release a new phone with only slight modifications from older model, i cant deny that these new models have great new features. And i would give nokia credit for being fast unlike ericsson. Altho i dnt plan to get a new fone yet, i wouldnt be surprised if my next fone would be a nokia. I just love their fast user interface and easy changeable covers

>Dimensions: 130 x 57 x 26 mm,

Does this look a bit big to anyone else, or have I just got used to my iddy biddy T68?

It is inevatable that 'better' phones with more features come along. How would handset manufacturers stay in business if they didn't. If SE can keep going long enough I am sure they will bring out something even better, if not someone else will. Until Nokia bring out something even better that is, and so on...

3650 at 400 euro and 3510 at 200-250 euro, unlocked. Pretty good price for a top of the line phone.

Well that has always been the tactic of nokia, and of course they will always be in the business. They are good in marketing and besides perhaps 40% or more of the cellphones sold are nokias

400 Euro, that's about 255 pounds in real money, not too bad concidering. How much was the T68 when it first came out?

Just because the model numbers are different doesn't mean it's a different phone. There were bigger difference between T68m and T68i, when the i was released than the 7210 & 6610 because of the software difference. Design changes alone doesn't make it a new phone in my eyes...

You seem to forget that T68i is the T68 as it was launched back in was it March 2001. But nevermind. That's not the point.

7210 and 6610, though being same inside, are two different products, for two different market categories.
The point is to offer choice to the public, while minimizing the costs between different products! 7210 is marketed as a fashion phone, while the other one is in some classic category.

That's what SE have not understood yet, and maybe it's too late already...

Batch_2002: Yes, I agree with you, it's too big somehow. But let's see how it feels in real life.
As a comparison, it's about 3 cm less tall than the communicator... but for a much more decent weight.

600 Euro. Well the Nokia seems very cheap if the 400 Euro price is correct when it is released.

And with Nokia being the market leader this will surely lead to high sales and eventually even lower cost of the phone.

All these new phones make me lose my interest in the p800, SE is tyring it's customers with their attitude... Think of how much handsets would have been sold by now, if they would have released it in 3rd quarter.... and now they r complaining about bad results....

het people what happen to u? 3650? hahahahahahah
i really laughed when i saw this phone, is somebody going to have a fight with it or what, this is a huge phone, not comparable at all with p800, i think nokia want to make fun of themselves, u will die trying to dial a number with this keypad, what is this?!!! not a phone for normal people, not a phone for active usage, baaaaaaaaaaaaaaad, and very huge, not fashinable at all, did u thinked where are u going to put it, i think your gonna make a special pocket for it, its better to go buy a pocket pc with a camera, this is a stupid phone, and i think that the only CELLPHONES in nokia are 7210 and 7650, 130g?!!!! it's really better to have a video camera, u will have 200% more, this is a big phone, its really funny and ugly, i hate it, the t68i is much better and casual, t68i is 999% better, and no sync ML in this phone, p800 is much better and looks better, its big but at least not funny, i cant imagine myself with this phone, it's like a nightmare, i think the bestselling phone in all those bad phones nokia unevieled is 7210 and 7650, i never saw anybody with 3510, nokia is really dissapointing with this phone.

and the 3510i, not a bad phone, but t68i is much better, i dont see anything better in this phone than that there is java and polyphonic tones, and the color, but i think the samsung t100 is the best color screen, but the only thing i liked in 3510i is that The number of variable tones (composed or downloaded) depends on the available phone memory, nokia is going bad, very bad, 7210 and 7650 are the best in nokia, but p800 is much better, t68i is still much better than 7210, 6610, 7650, 3650, 3510i. and there is no pop-port i think with the 3510i and 3650.
so the t68i is the best until the p800 come out.

thanks
