There was a thread someone had posted in the past about a T610 blowing up while on the charger ....so this aint exactly a first...if its indeed true that is

If a cellphone blows up then it could have been due to a defective battery (usually a "fake" not original SE battery).
Here in the Philippines, we have encountered a few cases where phones of different brands have blew up due to the battery. Investigations by local authorities pinpoint it as "fake" batteries sold in the black market. They usually blow up usually during charging when it gets overcharged and sometimes even in one's pocket afterwards.
That's because these "fake" batteries do not have the extra safety circuitry to shut down safely after it is fully recharged.
Just my two cents worth of thoughts. |

I too think a dodgy battery might be the culprit....(if this really happened)! Btw, anyone out here kind enough to volunteer their K750 to see what happens to it when it comes in contact with water?

Maybe...but worth taking a shot at....for all you know..it might be waterproof...itd be cool to play fifa 2005 while scuba diving
