In answer to one of the posts, the moderators wouldnt have to do any extra work if a scrip was used to stop people starting threads in the market section if their post count is too low.
Also i do believe it would stop most scammers. Most of the scammers we get on esato really do put little effort into their scams and you would be surprised how many people would be detered just by having to make as little as 25 posts!
As far as making it necessary for everyone to show pictures - what about those people who don't have a digital camera or a good camera phone?! i personnaly do steer clear of sellers who can't provide pics but i dont think we can make it a general requirement for all sales on the site.
Also i agree that common sense is perhaps the best defense against scammers. However i feel that when there is a simple idea like this that could stop some poor person who maybe isnt experienced at trading on forums from getting scammed, then i feel we should do it!
