The activity button on the left side of the K750i takes you straight to the music player. And you can assign a shortcut to the k750i to anything you want. It really sounds like there is very little difference between the two phones.

No that is not the activty button. The activity button is the one below the screen in the middle.

My contact at Danish SE support tells me that the whole division has done the same with their K750i...
so no crime there

I still can't see what the big deal is. Does it matter which button launches the Media player? As long as one of them does, thats enough for me. |

It wont be illegal, as some places still flash P900's to P910's or P905's as we call them.
So I doubt this would be illegal.
They wont lose many customers over the flashing issue, because most people are only interested in either the larger memory card, or the appearance of the handset, and the headphones.
Not many are interested in the firmware, as there barely are differenced.

You cannot download a "hacked" firmware, at the moment only have it flashed by a special program and cable.

its unfortunate that its flashed with r1k. thats a brown developers firmware, meaning you wont be able to update from seus.
im waiting for official red firmware untill i convert mine |

Actually it wont matter as you wont be able to use SEUS with any firmware. I will explain. When you use SEUS it checks your CID and also the first few digits of your IMEI. In the IMEI it knows that your phone is a K750, it is programmed into it and therefore you will not be able to update it. That is what i have heard.

ok, so it is just the original w800 firmware? As it was needed to hack the p910 firmware to get it to work on a p900....

Are you serious?
So I originally got a K750i, it is flashed to become a W800i with firmware R1K, and for future reference, I can't update my W800i?

No you cannot because your IMEI already says your phones a K750. So every time you wanna update you gotta pay and use davinci. Ive got the same problem:( But its worth having W800 firmware i think.

im pretty sure i saw one of the davinci developers say on their forums that currently SEUS does not check emei
also, its not possible to flash brown to red with davinci , unless you have a cruiser cable
