Hey guys. Just got my phone back this morning and WOW!!! Ben at King Mobile Phone is a star!!! I now have W800 firmware and its wicked!!! Anyone else with it post your comments to.
Edit: My firmware's R1K001
Edit: I navigated my way round the Chinese SE site and found the W800 drivers. They're called W800 not W800c so DO work with all converted K750-W800. Im using it NOW with Disc2Phone software.

W800i firmware we run here is R1L002.
Same as K750i it appears |

@bart, get a life buddy SE don't care. It's the same damn hardware 
The W800 is only more expensive due to the bigger mem card and music cable. In fact it's cheaper to actually buy a w800 than a k750 and those extras.
This is SONY ericsson - u think they wouldn't launch legal action against cruiser, davinci and the like if they had a major problem with what's going on? If SE don't care, why is it such a bad thing? |

kidding aside, i really think the w8's hsing is cool if only it had come in black... the menu keypad looks really rad. hoe to buy an hsing soon. then ill paint it black...

There is noting different except the flight mode right? The picture and video recording quality remain the same?

hmm. im interested in getting W800 housing but im not confident about fitting it myself without knackering the phone.
Questions: anyone out there who can do it? anyone on ebay?
Is the casing a genuine Sony Ericsson casing or is it cheap third party imitation? |
