So sell it then and get a Nokia. He! Om du tror att det blir bättre! Jag menar bara att man ska ha is i magen och vänta in Fw. Så löser det sig.

Well that's what i'm doing. But i do believe one have the right to be seriously pissed when a 400 euro product doesn't work properly. There is another alternative and that is to return the phone and claim a full refund on grounds that the phone doesn't do what it say it's supposed to do according to specs.

Hi all,

Just want to confirm that the R1DA039 firmware on Davinci is in fact just an updated firmware with 3 branding... not any specific bug fixes. I'm currently running R1DA038, and like many of you have been less than impressed, particularly with speed and crashing compared to my K800i.

I've also found that when listening to music through my Bluetooth headphones, trying to do ANYTHING on the phone becomes painfully slow. Attempting to surf the net while listening to music over Bluetooth is ridiculous. This is sad because my old k800i used to do this without issue whatsoever.

So yeah... who has installed the R1DA039 firmware? Would love to hear about your experiences. Is it completely 3 branded? Are there any noticible bug fixes? Should I just hang out till the long-awaited and much-promised generic 039 firmware? Would love to have some feedback.

039 is available on Davinci but is only available for HUTCH-WORLD which is an operator branded firmware.

Thanks Rookwise. What I'm asking is for some actual experiences of doing it. I'm with 3 Australia, so the whole 3 branding thing doesn't bother me too much but I'd only be prepared to put up with it if there were some significant bug fixes or speed increases.

OK this is driving me insane! WHY on EARTH would listening to music over Bluetooth slow down the rest of the phone via the built in file browser (just to get past the menu is the file browser actually working)?? The R1A & R3A White papers specifically state that all Bluetooth transactions are on a BT dedicated chip not involving the phones cpu?!

I'm not stating you're a liar - FAR FROM IT! I'm just confused. I'm beginning to think that the K850i may just be a Smartphone or UIQ3 in disguise!

I mean think about all the problems you ladies & gents are having with the phone?! Its like its a smartphone ... only those have this kind of issues, hardware, even a new platform shouldn't have all these issues - the W910i has this; it cannot be related to adding a 3G chipset to the platform can it?!

Well you won't get his number anyway. But maybe with should star spamming their customers care and complaing and specify why we are -NOT happy with their product!

I guess that they wont release any firmware on the weekends?

This is really starting to go ugly...
My version is 037 and was released 3 or 4 months before...i never seen se delaying this much for firmy...
I am now in doubt whether this new platform they selected is really worth?i think we will be seeing no firmy any sooner...may be by 20th of this month...or next month..
My k750 was BEST...they released firmy at right times..even my k800 was ok..
Even simple kdplayer indexes the whole media faster! Why cant the walkman 3.0 cant?

This is all coming from a person who had sooooo much faith and love in se..i the one who convinced many my friends to se from nokia coz se was great in the past..
Even t9 is not working properly..it doesn remember my frequent words eg who-win
Still when i type who it shows win..
But never a matter in k800.
