Yeah I think that perhaps they are dropping the 'i' from names and eventually the K series, etc won't have it. Although if you search for an old phone like the T610i, you'll find it under T610 without the 'i'. So it could be an error.
GPS is the only 'G' I can think of in English, so I presume it is Swedish too. GPS isn't very likely.

^^
some speculated specs of the G900:
-5mp camera with AF/LED photolight
-Touchscreen
-GPS
-WiFi
-HSDPA
if a was right then this will surely use these features as well:
-CCD sensor
-UIQ 3.2/ Ericsson JP-8 A200(if this is A200 then it's the first SE TS phone based on A200)
anyway what is powerhouse in swedish any swedish word out there that starts from "G" which utterly relates to the phone description plankgatan? anybody else?

G for GPS seems nonsense for me. focused on GPS i assume it's more than just having a GPS and 5mp camera - i assume it's a multimedia powerhouse to compete and rival Samsung's Soul and Nokia N96. P5 is more than a competitor, probably a killer
Wait, don't we think that G series will be representing XPERIA series
