I don't want to sound picky, but it could be that the info "These phones are coming" is based on a trial-and-error marathon with these sites as result and the conclusion: These exist, these will be announced. |

I Just think of this, what was SE's point of creating a web page for a forthcoming phone if this was a trial or error thingy SE people only wastes time and money making links like that imho.

I'm not quite sure I understand your comment there mate.
But it can't be coincidence that the phone-names we hear are coming out tomorrow happen to be the only ones that come up with a page...
I'm just saying this confirms their existance.

No extra T or J series?
With Ericsson and Nokia gone: we must keep their spirits alive and buy JOLLA or YOTA |

no xellar.....
these kind of pages usually is made before an event.... and in this way a server can launch it as fast as possible....
the info to this pages is saved on a xml file (like what you can see also of these models)....
as you can see in the product page there is a (((($)))).... in the begining of a data... these statments are character strings that will be loaded later from that xml file.....
in this method the server can launch the page exactly when the phones are being announced.... (or some hours later... cause the announcement night must have it's own uniqueness!!!) this way they don't need to design the page on that time.

low-end T and J series phones are way overpopulated already, enough for those cheap series. we should discern something new here: an event with no low-ends to be announced but purely high-ends only!

Yeah, I think SE used the R300/306 and T270/280 announcement to get the low-ends out of the way for a while. I expect only mid to high end phones from this announcement today.

I was saying nothing else. Seems like a misunderstanding, yes. All I wanted to say is: One could try out all the combinations with a tool and everything that does not give 404 error or is an already announced phone, will be an upcoming phone.
I caught the W760 site in this state before its announcement, so I'm not denying the whole concept. Misunderstanding. |

SE should learn from their mediocre K850 camera quality. if they are planning to release a 5mp slim phone then they should take into consideration that this is inappropriate to be integrated unto a petty yet mediocre 1/2.8" CMOS sensor like the k850 uses, instead they should use CCD in fact a 1/3.0" CCD beats a 1/2.5" CMOS hands down.
I also think of yet another reason why SE used "C" series was also because they will now utilize "C"CD sensors. so "C" series means Cybershot phones with CCD sensors.
G-series seems to be a touchscreen powerhouse series standing a step lower than P-series.

Oh right! Yeah I just misunderstood what you were saying. My bad!
Oh and perhaps 'G' stands for GPS? Did anyone say that yet?

G series are compact touchcscreen handsets. i can't find any designation of the initial "G" on any english word to relate the series' description. perhaps it's based on a swedish word. just like T series which is taken under the swedish word "Tala" which means Talk
how many hours left guys

I noticed yesterday that their sites do not have an "i" after the index, so I thought of Global. But now I see C702/902 do not have it, either. :|
