K850 Firmware Overview |

Well, if we can get back to the firmware issues, I recently update to 038 and have found another bug.
When I tried to update my RSS Web feeds,, nothing would update and came back as errors, I tried a few new ones but still the same thing, so I tried to open an old one and puff, my phone re-booted. Doesn't matter which Feed I try, the phone reboots straight away.
Apologies is this has been mentioned before.

a feature i'd like in a new firmware:
I wanna use the microphone from the phone when my headset is connected.
Now when someone calls me i need to put off my pmx-100, disconnect the fastport, put away the wire, put the phone to my ear.
If i could use the phone's mic i could just talk into the phone..
This must be possible software wise.
Do Sennheiser has a fastport connector? Just curious.
Why dont you use HPM-70 adapter bulb?
No I have one of these
My HPM-70 adapter bulb completely died after 1year and i dont wanna order new HPM-70s when i just need the adapter=/
edit: hm, interesting?

i dont think its some BIG problem. HPM-70 have become very cheap for the moment...in sweden you can buy a pair of new ones for 10 EURO...some years ago they cost 40-50 EURO.

^^^ It has already happened, in December. The fw upgrade, I mean, not the storm When BRANDED phones got one, and GENERIC, didn't..
Not a major issue, but still... I am sure that the following won't change many thing, even if it does, it will be buggy...
Anyways, enjoy our phones. Just don't make them do anything except taking captions and SMS/MMS/Call. And everything should be fine |

eBay is crowded with HPM-70 fakes... Take good care ! The thing shown in the pic above is a fake. No SE logo on the earbuds and no walkman logo on the main body.. Everything below 20 euros looks suspicious...
PS: back to topic... are there any sources stating there will a new firmware in january / february at all ?!

Could you tell me where in Holland?
I have a DS970 but that one only lasts for about 5 hours, before the battery goes empty.
It works great for normal use, on the bike, etc, but when i have to travel it's not the best solution. |

for 3.5mm connection you should use a walkman remote, from the w550i or similar. they're called SRC200 and MRH200.
many on ebay for less than £10 mostly from Hong Kong, include earbud sony ericsson earphones (walkman). In black or white.
imy old src200 from my w800i didnt work so i bought a new one on tuesday, arrived today. (UK seller)
£0.99 (£1.99 P+P) but without earphones-brand new.
Very cheap!!!
one thing-on mine the remote works; but there's no pause button, but the remotes on ebay differ slightly. mine evn has a light up control button! there is a pause button on the black models-they are slightly different.
