That one was before my time , but you're right, of course.
Still, 'twas only triband...it seems UIQ 3.0 had a limitation to triband or something.
UIQ 3.2 is definitely different, though. And SE has been very good about putting 850 in all their newer phones (starting mid-2007-ish).

No, in the sense that at the time of that phone's release, I was still stuck on a CDMA network. |

G900 is said to have 5mp cam, i wonder what sensor will SE use in this product. if they persist to use K850's mediocre CMOS one then there is a problem with the people inside them. SE should start thinking of utilizing CCD sensors imo. that is if they wanted to regain the camera king throne.

2007 was the first time was dethroned as the camera phone king.
People associate with the best camera on the market.
The path laid by k700, s700, k750, k800 is now being trod by a camphone from the connecting-people company.
i also do hope improves the quality of its camera optics in 2008.
If it is a cybershot flagship phone, then it MUST be the best imaging phone.
If it is flagship phone, then it MUST be the best music oriented phone
If its from , then it MUST be good.

isn't it strange how SE starts out great and then fades away.
First with touchscreen (actually it was ericsson)
The walkman phones, now other phones can do the same or better
Good cam phones, well now SE is not longer the very best.
Battery life, those who really know telecom know that philips phones last longer.
SE has got a hudge task ahead to get back up their, otherwize we can see nokia's marketshare growing to 50% by 2010

It must have wifi b/g both that is..im fed up of b only by SE..and im also fed up of Non-Quadband phones....name a UIQ 3 phone that has GSM 850 ? ? none
since you generalized it as UIQ 3 then:
Motorola RIZR Z8, Z10 aren't they quadband
it shouldnt be hard to understand that im talking about SE

Waht i know...as an SE lover..the phones will have an inbuilt gps chip in it...just look at their announcements tht have cropped up..all of them..w760..has a gps chip inbuilt..so we can safely assume tht gps will be there and mayb with the uiq phone even wifi b/g...its only to see if sone brings out a phone with tv out and vb...tv-out should be made a necessity...
dont let your hopes down guys..SE will sure surprize us..and guys those who say that S lost the cam war may just chk on the unbranded k850 pics...they rock big time.....and w960 roules th roost in all music centric phones..

There's not point in using a CCD censor,as long as they put a quality CMOS one.
