Ermm... Those keys are the P900i's which was way before that particular Nokia you mention. The point is SE continued the keypad on the W880i and then K850i then suddenly nokia jumps on board. Don't get me wrong, I'm not implying that the N82 isn't a great phone but I'm pointing out the obvious rip off of SE design.
As pointed out by Razec, Nokia had that keypad even before P900, seriously bro, give it up Nokia didnt rip off anything.

True razec. The thing is the success of the W880i pushed Nokia in that direction of the key since it seemed to work for SE. And the fact that the K850i employed a similar keypad.
LMFAO what brought you to that conclusion? Nokia tend to randomly implement this keypad, plus its actualy VERY different in use to the SEs. Have you used a N82, W880, K850 and N91 for texting? I have, the N82 and N91 are almost identical when it comes to the feel of the keypad, whereas the SEs are different from each other and from the Nokias. It seems to me Nokia use that keypad when trying to save space, both N82 and N91 would have been huge im sure if their keys were like N93 or N95 keys. Ps. The W880 keypad is awful, the keys are WAY too thin, kinda explains why they changed it in W890.

You're a rare kind - a fanboy of both SE (K850) and Nokia!
Seriously, you don't have to go those lengths - even I would acknowledge a good Nokia phone when I see one, although I would hardly consider buying it... |

K850 fanboy how? Please explain? Pmpl! Do you SE users all have this lil crazy idea in your heads that Nokia copy SE? If Nokia copied SE they would not be at the top, thats for sure.

did you miss the fact that Nokia have used keypads like that since 2002? Lol, comparing a k550 to a N82, now ive seen it all.

Exactly. lol, N91 came long before the k550. A shame the some of the SE fanboys just cant get over it, they desperately want to convince themselves that Nokia copied.

I am not comparing the keys, just check the overall structure of the two... i find them pretty much the same.. obviously, the N91->N85->N86-N96 lovers are sure to say something else. |

First of all, you worship Nokia like Jesus but you also praise your K850 which is obviously not the best of SE phones. Me, I'm happy being a fanboy to the bone...besides I agreed with some of your point, no use trying to fan the flame. I just wanted to point out that this kind of argument will take us nowhere. In an Idou thread to boot. |

OMG! Exactly my point, ANYTHING to convince, yourselves, so now N82 is a copy of k550? Lmfao whats next? by the way i think you meant N81 not N91. The N81 started the whole rounded edges thing, and the new key format, although the N97 and N86 have now slightly changed it. . lol i wont be suprised if i log back on here and discover a post or thread claiming the N96 is a W995 rip off after today.

Uhm,no,i generaly "praise" any device that im impressed with, ive argued with Nokia fanboys that the Samsung Innov8 is an absolute N95 killer in most things, at some point all i wanted was either a Sam G810 or Innov8, i recently "praised" the BB Bold after playing on one a few days ago, i "praised" the Sam i450 for its incredible audio quality, i "praised" the Toshiba devices etc. . .lol, dont be mad cause i dont "praise" SEs. You seem to be the only one who believes im a "K850 Fanboy" most ridiculous statement ive ever read, this is one phone that ive complained A LOT, and now i only managed to get it working correctly i simply post how brilliant it would have been if SE had done it correctly, but then again you seem to "see what you want" and thats a post or 2 where i said id take a K850 over a C902 lol, if this aint true please quote a post where ive absolutely praised the K850 as if it was the best with not a single complaint. Thanx.
Back to the Idou topic, anymore details on what CPU its running? What its official name will be? Will it have a 3.5mm jack? How much RAM and ROM will it have? Does it have HSDPA and HSUPA etc. . .?

Dunno...but they look pretty much the same....and yea...i meant the N81.. and please, N96 being a ripoff of the W995 would be an insult to the W995. |
