I don't think so... omniaHD is announced to be running s60 5th, while SE reps are saying idou is SF based.
btw. why is idou being discussed in the kokura thread? yet we have this dedicated thread? aren't those names different?

the w960 was PAINFULLY slow with symbian.. i wouldnt touch the idou unless it's speedy and doesnt crash...

Mines not, it's the best unit I have ever owned, AND its not a vanilla SIM Free unit its a Vodachocked unit! yours must be properly choked!

surely SF is S60 they have NO competition any longer. That IS funny! BTW I wouldnt get too excited about IDOU just yet have a way of managing to delay phones far more effectively than railtrack can delay trains!!!!!!!!

Surely Samsung's Omnia HD (to be released in two months) is already competing heavily? Ok it's an 8MP rather than 12, but the screen seems better, and it's pretty much identical in every other way, isn't it?

Right now we still don't know what the Idou is really capable of. While the Omnia HD is essentially an advanced version of Pixon. |
