Has anyone noticed the focus assist lamp beside the xenon flash that was first introduced in K800 and become missing in K850 days returned with C905? so i think SE has incorporated all the features from some of their phones into this one.
C902: accelerometer and autorotate
K850: first SE with 3LED videolight
K800: first SE with Xenon focus assist beam
C702: GPS + AGPS
+
*WiFi
*DLNA
and maybe:
*A300(project capuchin)
Imo the design was definitely inspired by these three cybershot phones:
SO905iCS: take a look at the camera design on the side of the phone
K550 (the silver+black combo which i loved the most)
K800: the way the lens cover slides, actually the three phones slide in a similar manner but K800 was the first to start this trend 
W910: the simple yet safe front design that made W910 the best 3GSM phone for 2007.
So this really looked like a japanese phone: so gsmarena would reiterate their previous line used in S700 review: Welcome to Japan!

as a Cyber-Shot, Shiho is awesome
I wonder what W960i successor will have, I think for this year, these two phone are the top notch that  can bet on thier position as a high-end phone maker, and they can do better and better

one thing ive realised the back looks like the p5 - the camera lense and slide..would call it a p5 from the back lol

That G702 pic looks awesome! Great colours indeed. If you have a steady hand fixed focus pics can look as good as auto focused ones.

@salih and the rest of the guys. all this talk about how good pic-quality g702 have BECAUSE OF ONE picture says nothing !!!! (so please wait tills it comes some really compare-pics).
this pic can just be som lucky shoot, it can be real, or it can be half-fake (some short exif-data tells nothing about how good the camera really is), and it can also be very much edit with some software.
the big question is, WHICH SENSOR DO IT HAVE ?? maybe Sonys new IMX-0XX 8.1 m.p. sensor ????

It may well be edited but based on the assumption it isnt I was simply commenting on how good the colours look. Not even the K850 and C902 can produce as good colours.

????? you must be kidding. first of all, ITS ONE PICTURE. it says absolutley NOTHING.
second, no one really knows if this is a original picture from g702. which i really really doubt it is (what i really mean is, that i doubt g702 will perform like this overall).
(of course i hope its true, we have to wait and see)

You seem quite defensive at the possibility of a camera phone whos camera on paper is below your k850 but is producing better shots? Anyway as its only one pic thats why im not getting too exited but what I cant comment? Bah...thought police.
The w890 produces equally as good colours and thats been out ages.

w890 produce similar....he he.. maybe you should get glasses. its lightyears in colors between w890 and this g702 picture
and please, dont put k850 inside this conversation, i really give a shit about k850, i just very curious how a cell phone with a small cmos sensor can produce this colors...like i said, its (i think) a lucky shoot. perfect lightness, perfect angle, etc, etc, etc

dont you think its strange that a 3.2 mp cmos cellphone-camera produce this colors ???
(not even the champion k800 can do this)
shame it looks so sissy and that it have Symbian. otherwise (if its true about the pic-quality) it rocks

Well it wouldn't be the first time SE used a digital camera to give samples, and tell us it's made with the XYZ phone. Remember the old K850i samples?
One shot, lucky not lucky, but that will be the final driver. Nothing to correct on it, but they can make it look worse (so that C models would be selled better) for extra money so you get a Cyber shot. I mean look at w910 again... it has a 2mp camera, and pix look like ass. They could have used the w800's camera... but they didnt. Anyway we will see tomorrow. If it will be announced tomorrow, believe me, that will be the final phone. Maybe SMALL adjustments here and there, but NOTHING more. | |
