I've just been to the cinema to see the Day After Tomorrow (great film!), and bluejacked someone with a T610 with 'you've left your phone on' a few minutes before the film started. I was hoping it was this bloke a couple of rows in front of me who was constantly texting people, but I don't think it was, never saw who it was I got. Anyway, did another search just before the film started, and found this T610 again! This time I sent 'turn your phone off!!' to him/her! I never found out who it was, and if they turned it off in the end or not.
I just hope it wasn't the guy behind me - he looked quite big!

Sammy, with t610s when you send a contact it goes straight into the phone without the owner to know about it. He/she only knows when they next go thru the phone to call someone and find that entry. This could be days later, hell even months later. Kinda defeats the purpose of bluejacking, but hell, atleast you can sit back and imagine what he/she will do when they find the entry down the track.
I had a great Bjack about a month ago, I was sitting in Nando's (its a portugese chicken take away here in Austrailia) eating dinner. When ever someone new comes in to place their order, I'd scan for new devices. This hot chick comes in, I scan, and I find a Nokia. So I sent the contact, "Nice Arse" which was true. Anyway, her beeps, and she pulls it out. She looked at the screen and put the phone away.
I tried and tried again after that, but she must of turned her phone off, cause she was sitting across from me the whole time.
The past couple of weeks Ive been trying to bjack phones at the mall with goatse man again. You know, to cause mayhem and to see the looks on peoples faces, but I havn't had any luck. Might have something to do with the fact my phone is named "22/m, I wanna f***". I might change it to Vodafone or something |

Try sending picture messages..
(on T610, T630, Z600, K700) Create your contact, then in your phonebook select pictures, choose your contact then assign which picture you want..
Then whenever you bj another phone, the picture gets saved into the victims pictures folder, whether they save the message or not. Of course with Nokia's they still have to accept the message manually, and on the 6310i you cant send pictures as the phone isnt colour screen.
Its great fun though, i sent this guy in my local supermarket a picture message this morning, the messages said 'check ur pics folder' and when he did, he would have seen my picture of a girl in a bikini saying 'you've been bluejacked!'
A good thing to try is with PDA's. On my PDA's i can send all my messages at once, to multiple phones. Kinda spamming but fun anyway.

If I'm bored in lectures at uni, I'll do a BT scan of the lecture theatre as there's always someone in there with it switched on.
I've received notes from random users in the past, but I think the most annoying thing about the T610 is that it doesn't seem to tell you who sent the note so you don't know who to reply to, and even if you do then my phone never seems to be able to send notes to others anyway. It's got really old software (R1A081) and therefore I think is vulnerable to some serious bluejacking
At some point I need to drive the 75 miles to South-east London for my nearest SE service centre and get the software upgraded, I wish there was an easier way! |

well if ethics aren't enough of a reason for you, sending the "nice ass" message was technically illegal because it constitutes sexual harrassment (although the act of bluejacking was legal, the message contents were not).
since bluejacking is meant to be a fun and harmless pasttime, sending that sort of message gives it a bad rep and may cause problems for the rest of us in future.
you may want to check the bluejacking code of ethics jellyellie came up with for her bluejackq website.

@Gelfen, we dont have to do what those rules say, and who gives jelliellie the right to make the rules ?

It's not like a 'law' dude, however you may wanna consider that for jacking to remain for years to come... sending illegal and/or offensive content isn't the way to go. As this will sooner or later encourage some or other prick to do something about it.

What worries me is that more and more phones seem to ask someone if they want to accept a message, unlike phones like the 6310 which just flash up the business card etc. Do some of the new phones coming out now from the likes of Nokia and display business cards straight away a la 6310, or display prompts like some of the newer phones?
And yes, I agree there does need to be a voluntary 'code of ethics', otherwise you'll get morons bluejacking 'f**k off' to all and sundry, giving 'authentic' bluejackers a bad name. Hopefully those who are that hard of thinking will never work out how to bluejack

Nobody gave jellie ellie the "right" to come up with a code of ethics but what she says is reasonable, sensible and (i feel) accepted by the bluejacking community at large.

on my trip overseas i thought i would get more fools to blujack but only found one with 3650 (found it by accident, da guy was near me for over half an hour & didn't see him) anyway found his phone and sent him a message sayin the devil is waitin for you. i didn't notice any reaction hell thats if he realised what happened cause he was busy talking to a girl.
also saw this girl at the airport with t610 but i was sitting near her and she saw my phone so it would b obvious it was me. where's the fun in that
