Speaking of the Escalade, I haven't seen one yet. But then, me and American cars aren't on friendly terms. The Germans are still by far the best car manufacturers for me.
The strange thing is I grew up riding an American car- Chrysler's Valiant. My father had two, the first one was given to my uncle while the second was driven till its 'death'. When, during the life of the Valiant, he bought a Bimmer I could feel the difference in handling and power even as young as I was.
We (the kids) would always want him to drive the Bimmer rather than the Valiant. That was the day I fell in love with BMW. It was a BMW 3.0 L.

Oh okay thats good, read the GSMArena review for it, they arent so keen on its UI,but overall seems to be realy good.
Dam now thats quite a contrast your Father had there, lol, ya im also not a fan of American cars. My stepmum had a awful Chrysler PT Cruiser til last year, it was falling apart by the end,and had only been around 3years, she got the new C200 and Mercs after sales support has been great, they even call to ask if you are happy a few days after getting a service, the Germans are realy on top of their game.

@GUCCI
Thanks for reminding me of GSMarena's review, hadn't noticed it before.
I agree with them that those icons are terrible and outdated. I don't use the phone's camera that much but those shots look worse than my P1's. It also appears like the phone is 'standard' with nothing to excite.
Sad but I need that QWERTY keypad so I have not much choice but to get the phone.
The one phone that keeps getting mentioned is the E72 which also seems to be the better phone. Just my luck that it is S60!

Well, well, well!
How about that indeed? Announce it now and have it available now. Where's that X1, SE?

So I finally watched 2012, by far the worst mistake I made this year, sure it's got awesome graphic effects. That's about it, the rest sucks...imo

Wanqs,i would not be suprised hey.
Ya,i smaak that NexusOne to, and i still dig the Hero, which should drop in price nicely 2010 is going to be quite a year mobile/OS wise.
Dups!
I didnt want to discourage you but ya lookwise the BB OS aint so great, especialy when in settings of the phone and settings of apps, its suddenly Black writing and a White background, no matter what theme you use,but the BB experience once you have B.I.S at just R50p/m activated plus FB and Twitterberry you are gona love it. Its a different world lol, what makes BB so great is the convenience of that BIS service, and the battery life is just unbelievably good,my mums 8900 Curve only realy needs a charge after every 2days,but she charges it every night. I see GSMArena got an entire week out of the 9700 though.
Gola
Bro,i had to watch Twilight:New Moon and 2012 twice last month lol, you check just how cliche everything is in 2012? They manage to JUST make it out of every bad situation,

I guess I will get used to its dull UI. Hopefully, like you say, I'll have a great with BIS.
Apparently Samsung is releasing its own Xperia Pureness but in colour. Not necessarily Pureness in that it is high end but in its translucent colour screen which happens to be a touchscreen.

Wow , yet another incredible milestone for Apple:
(taken from GSMArena):
'Apple App Store hits 3 billion downloads in just 18 months
Happy 3 billion downloads to the Apple App Store. Yep, the 100,000 plus applications in the App Store have been downloaded over 3 billion times in just a year and a half. Steve Jobs says it's like nothing they've seen before - well, Mr. Jobs, it's like nothing anyone has seen before.
You wanna hear the scary part? Just over three months ago - September 28 2009 to be exact - Apple announced that there are over 85,000 apps in the App Store and over 2 billion downloads.
On July 14 2009, or just under three months before that, there were "only" 65,000 apps and 1.5 billion downloads. At this rate, they'll probably be announcing over 4.5 billion downloads by late March. One last bit of math - with about 50 million Apple iPhone and iPod touch users worldwide, that comes up to 60 application downloads on average per customer.
To help users sift through the noise of various torchlight and weird sounds applications, Apple included the Genius feature - it recommends apps on the basis of your past downloads. There's even a competitor called Appsaurus, which claims make better recommendations due to its more advanced algorithms.'

Hmmm, like politics business is a dirty game. Would Apple have released that info had Google not announced that phone?
Maybe I'm too much of a conspiracy theorist but I smell something...
SE must be cursed as GUCCI once wrote. The X10 is delayed until March this year. Seemingly it has to do with Qualcomm not clearing the Android OS. With SE anything is possible, could be anything even their incompetence which is more than likely.
This is from the X10 thread, didn't include the link cause the said information, which was translated in that one line by a member, is in Swedish.
If SE is still around by the end of the year and making profits than losses I will give them a a very big hand. Heck, I will even get their flagship Android phone on my next upgrade. I've never seen such a mess of a company!
