im using DM 3.8, how come when i adjust the manual focus and then press shutter half way, it auto focuses, and doesnt keep my manual focus setting

You have to disable the auto-focus. If you have it enable the phone will auto-focus.

Just set the focus to infinite and it will not focus the image.
With the camera turned on, press twice the up-pad button...
It's basic!!!

I'm heading over to Vegas and San Fran for a couple of weeks - any hints guys?

I've put on DM 3.5 as it seems to be best for point and shoot? I don't think the other half will give me time to setup shots

Vegas will be a lot of night shots and SF a lot of day shots..
Vegas will be the hard one! From what I've read...if I want something auto-ish outdoor at then have everything auto except iso 100?
