Hi Guys,
Just thought I'd post an update about my removed Camera lens cover )The glass one on the K850i).
Its now been over a month, and the camera has been fine - no issues with anything, no breakages, nothing - so yes - removing the glass cover has NO negative impact on the K850i.
On the other hand, I have decided to sell my K850i - as the camera just isnt up to scratch - the poor sensor makes for soft pictures, lacking detail and poor colour representation (It repaints anything red in a photo PINK) - plus the Media Manager is not fast enough - I am a Sony Ericsson user through and through - but Ill stick by my T650i until I see some serious improvements from the K Series Flagship - although admittedly, I have had some good experiences with the K850i (Good Video recording etc).
Im really pryaing to God that Sony Ericsson fix the K850i, and soon - or indeed release a K810i style update, and fast (Please keep the great keys, I love the Sony Ericsson Keypads)!
Sony Alpha.

Are you even in the right topic mate?
Yes... The W910i and K850i share a software platform, so the firmware releases will be worked on at the same time, with emphasis on camera functions for the K850 and Walkman functions for the W910i

Just spoke to sony tech support in the uk and they advise that "3" are currently testing riba030 and this should be released soon. could not say a date though
I don't think much people here cares about what SE is testing out for the future but what matters is releasing something to fix the current bugs and boost the phone first.
Are you stupid or what? Bugs get discovered by testing the firmware. Even if they only fix the old bugs it should be tested because fixing bugs can create new bugs. And good testing takes months.

My SEUS (the app not the firmware) is updating now. By my recolection that means they're ready for new firmware (confirmation??). We'll see in a few minutes...
Edit: Looks like the update was to add the W890 and Z555 into the phones list. No firmware. Maybe tomorrow..

My point was that there is often a firmware update shortly after an application update.
