Everyone just say its coming in March and if it comes before its a bonus. I cant understand why everyone is sweating - Its not like the update notes have been released and included is the ability to watch TV or something worth the hype. What is everyone so desperate for?! The new Sms settings - lol!!!!
Relax people
-I want to use manual equalizer
-I want to zoom in on pictures without the need to reboot (so i can change volume)
-I want a better camera driver.. the light sensor and flash still needs lots of work. Only a couple of photos i took with my k850 are actually better than those i made with k750.
-I want to be able to use the media player without the major lag.
etc..

Did they say those fixes were coming?
If they were careless enough to release the FW with those flaws in the 1st place, who knows what you/we wont be able to do next time we update. Be careful what you wish for. Hehe
The way some sound on here, its as if N.A.S.A were releasing the FW - LOL!!! |

True,
though, knowing SE from my previous phones and because we've been waiting for weeks now i assume they've fixed all the problems. I mean, there's no reason for them to take so long if they werent fixing/optimizing this phone.
Surely they understand that they'll lose users when they wont release a proper firmware soon.
;P
goodnight

Well, whatever.
If they don't release the update, their problem. My trust for SE will go down the tubes. And consequently, I won't be buying their phones in the future. |

Dear Holdit, you are a complete moron. The reason people are getting worked up is because the phone does NOT WORK the way it is supposed to. We aren’t waiting for new features, we are waiting for fixes to the crippling bugs. We are waiting for the phone to function the way it should have from day one.. |

Me the moron? haha! I bet you cant sleep at night because of this FW -
Stop making out the phones current FW is crippling. It aint that bad...If it was, SE would have done a recall or you would have sold/returned your phone.
No ones saying new FW's aint welcome, but people like you are obsessed and should just chill and let the FW turn up when its ready.
Lets us all pray the FW comes ASAP just for you, as your phone does NOT WORK - Lol!!!!! |

Youre right. Yes you are a moron and no I cant sleep at night. But I had trouble sleeping even before this phone. I hope your car’s breaks fail on the highway and Sony Ericsson makes you wait 4 months for a new firmware |

Well i for one are going to take SE:s word for that it arriwes next week. Today as i am traveling, i'm going to see if the SE service centre, in one of the towns on my stops, might roll back my fimware to the -29 since i at least had all my functions up and running with that firmware.

I agree. The current firmware isn't as bad as people are making it out to be. I use the camera and media player heavily, and some accessories such as the HBH-DS980 and HGE-100 and there really aren't any major bugs (flash works fine for me, I haven't had any problems with the volume control). Nothing like when the K800 was new and there were bugs where it would reboot etc. My only major complaint is with the sluggishness of the media player (I have an 8 GB MicroSD full of music), which is why I'm keeping my eye out for an update.
