So finally took delivery of my new phone. I'm loving it although my only gripe is that my sim card is yet to be activated.

Da Wanqsta's officially on holidaaayyyy!!!
Still going in on Monday though. With all my additional responsibilities, it's been that mad that I haven't even had a chance to sort my classroom out yet, for the new academic year starting in September.
To think it's already a year ago that I was in Cape Town et al; eish, time seems to be flying by...
@ da brixsta:
Congrats on the new handset! Ya, as Gucci was referring to, details please. C'mon, the suspense killeth, LOL.

Hello everyone Here is a interesting story. This morning I had a nice flight (nothing unusual). However, in my quest for exploration I have run across a Duiker (small antelope) during a low level flight (below 10m above ground). The wind was absent and when the Duiker jumped off mere meters in front of me, I saw my chance to prove Darvin wrong Immediatelly, let the trim tabs go to 80%, elevator up and increased the rpm to 7700 I know the area pretty well. Is part of a fairly big cattle/game farm of a long time buddy of mine. Neither any game nor cattle where in sight - apart of the lone duiker. Now, I have chased wild animals of different shapes, sizes and intelligence previously (mostly by off road motor bike and helicopter). However, the elusive Duiker got away in no time in the talk grass/bushes. This time around, I literarely had the 'upper hand' According to C. Darwin, the Duiker should get tired in a few minutes because there is no need for it to run long distances. It merely hides away from the pursuer. I remember though, Zeus my legendary Doberman, (visit saps jbay for his story), never managed to track down a Duiker until 'the end'. (Was fairly succeseful with most other game). This morning I wanted to get to the bottom of this, come what may At first the animal went with its instinct - run like crazy (50kmh or so), put a 100+ meters betwen the danger and hide. Well, for me it was easy, I just flew (constant 45kmh) where it went 'down'. The engine noise did the rest After a few of this moves, it changed its mind. Run just fast enough to keep 50-60m ahead. I thought that's the end. In a few minutes it will get tired. Guess what . . . After 30min I was running low on fuel and the distance to the duiker never dropped to less then 50m ! WTF next time I will make sure I have a full petrol tank. Here are a few stats you might find interesting.
Impala lasts 8 to 10 min at up to 60kmh after that speed drops to 0 in about 3 min (in the end it can barely stand). Gemsbok 5-8min at 50kmh after that turns around and wants to fight. Wildbeast 12 to 15 min at 55kmh. After that faces you all the time and staggers away when approached. Kudu runs at full speed for cover (think bush and up to 60kmh) if followed, it keeps on running but never seems to completely exhaust itself. The distance to the pursuer drops to mere meters (if followed long enough - hours !). Seems to not only get tired but get generally weak/confused. Zebra runs for a few minutes at 55kmh then drops to 40-45 and goes for another 20min to half hour. After that it literarely drops to the ground. Best is not to disturb it until it gets up on its own otherwise it can die of vaso-constriction (shock).
I would like to know if any of you worked, or knows people involved in game capturing? Since I moved to Jeffrey's I sort of miss this action And no, I did not forget about the Springbok - just I never had the chance to check it out.
Surely this must be the longest post I send to Esato from my cell I am going to retire now, until at least my birthday in oct.
Greetings from a cold Jeffrey's.

@da wanqsta & GUCCI: I eventually settled on the E66 although I should say the X1i and the 5800 came highly recommended. I still feel like the 5800 is a beta project of sorts and the wirelessmonkey put me off the X1i for its out-dated OS. The E66 is definitely no spring chicken but it works. Its fast and most important it answers all my questions. Right now I'm charging up my Nokia BT headset....looking forward to see how the two pair.
