the psx was sold in japan, but i don't think they are producing any more.
@etaab: it was originally scheduled to hit Australia late last year, which would have worked out nicely as a convenient "all-in-one" because i would have used it as a cheap dvd player/digital recorder. ps3 is unlikely to reach australia until september 2006.

But according to Sony, it would have been anything but cheap.

which still would have made it cheaper than a dvd or digital recorder in australia at that time (and it would have let me get a ps2 without having to convince my wife).

I very much doubt it would be cheaper than a DVD recorder, even at that time, simply because of everything that is integrated into the PSX.

A new picture of the Playstation 3 controller appears to show that the next-gen joystick is a little bigger than a credit card.

I dont think the controller looks small, its the hand that looks large.
Why is the person holding wearing goalkeeper gloves ?

the controller looks abit off.. but i got a feeling its going to be comfortable to hold.. as my dad has his Nokia Communicator charging stand.. which has the same design... and it feels comfortable holding it....

Anyone else get the feeling the buttons might light up ?
They look like the K700i's keys IMO.

tat wud be cool etaab... light up keys.. but seeing they didnt implement it on the psp.. i dont think they will... with bluetooth it will already take up much power... maybe a glow in the dark keys.. like found in watches such as 'Ball' it lights up very well... and last for 25yrs... by then PS3 will be considered old-sch..
