They dropped the 5 and only lost 35k units, we knew 5 was the worst seller but we didn't imagine it was this bad. Keep in mind that annual numbers also include previous models sold that year.
I think your math is a bit wrong there.
2.8 million to 2.45 million is a drop of 350,000 units for the entire year, we have no idea how much of that is the 5.

What we know for sure is that sales of 5 can only be substantially less than 350K. This is also a year where no new products were announced for US except FP1 |

Interesting to see this thread still kicking after all these years, cheers for those who could still buy Sony phones locally, and I'm glad that Sony kept the 3.5mm jack and microSD slot on the new flagship even after everyone else have moved on.

and what is wrong with OEM? the OEM is making the device to the customer's specification.

If it features a solid camera, it could garner some sales, but if Sony gimps the camera and functionality, then it will be dead in the water.

the actual Bluetooth listing.

sumaho just mentioned one river for the 1 vii, why not post the river names Sony has used for all previous models? some evidence would be nice to support this theory.
bluetooth sig has changed, most models appear after their reveal, not before, especially for sony.

Most people here know that the Xperia platform names are derived from river names, right? |

No I do not know.. I only knew after I read Sumahodigest 😅😅
I thought every series or something they changed names?? Last time I remember there's a name Hayabusa (NXTseries?)
