i think this R1DA039 is new right?
I think it might just be bug fixes, as the firmware became available on around the 16th/17th.. |

Sorry, that was for the w910i, but I've heard that it was only a few bug fixes for them. I'd assume it'd be the same for the k850i.

we've been waiting for this firmware for weeks. I dont think it took them so long to fix some bugs.
Atleast, i hope so for them or my next phone will be a nokia
Also, SE's site notes "optimal performance"

R1DA039 is the same as R1DA038 (But with more specific network branding)
The only difference is R1DA039 is for the network three (3) who is owned by Hutchinson.
There is still a new version to come out shortly.

I`m really disapointed about waiting for this new firmware :/ I understand that they want to give us final bugs free firmware but cmon... How long it can takes ? at first they said it will be in january then they said it will be January/february ... next stop is February/march ? They will really lose a lot of people who "loved" SE. SE !!! 3 Days left !!! |

I doubt it. The version number change isn't significant enough.

G > GPRS (2G)
E > EDGE (2.5G)
3G > 3G (3G)
H > HSPDA (3.5G)
I've never seen an 'E' on mine, or a 'G'.
Where in the UK can you get Edge? And is it only available on certain network providers? |
