Do you have connection speed problem after upgrading to new fw R1BC002 'cause I have low speed about 4-5KB/s when transfering files, any workaround?

Yes my MPE speed went from around 40KB/s to only about 7-8KB/s. This happened directly after updating to R1BC. I even installed older versions of MPE but none worked at the original speed.

All other methods for serial transfer however operate at full speed, as does native XP bluetooth and the bluetooth obex stack from widcomm.

max_wedge,

I had made some file transfer speed testing before firmware R1BC using a single 10558KB large file. Via Bluetooth and USB, with MyPhoneExplorer and SE Filemanager.

As I noticed your posting I did testing after firmware update. Here are my findings:

Via BT
PC > Memory Stick: 48KB/s (before), 45KB/s (after)
PC > Phone memory: 45KB/s (before), 47KB/s (after)

Via USB
PC > Memory Stick: 330KB/s (before), 320KB/s (after)
PC > Phone memory: 56KB/s (before), 60KB/s (after)

All those speeds tally with my own tests, however except for MPE after R1BC (ms or phone memory).

I just tested on another PC and transfer speed is 21KB/s. Better but still not the full speed. The widcomm file manager copies files at 30-35KB/s.

I used to get the full 40KB/s, on both of these test machines.
