Yes, the "phone" is ok, you can make and receive calls, you can even send and receive SMS.
But how about the camera? Or the Media Player? Or the Java applications performance? Or the multi-tasking performance? They are sold separately or what?

Dear Mr. Kumar,

Thank you for contacting Sony Ericsson Support Center.

As per your mail we understand that you are facing some software problem and you want to know that when new firmware would be available. We would not be able to give you the information regarding the new software. However, we would like to inform you that our site always upgraded with new software so you can upgrade the software from our site. If problem persists again then you are requested to visit the service centre. Below are the addresses of the service centers in Chennai.

this is what they replied.

i don't guess when will the new f/w

Which country's customer service did you contact? that's the worst english I've ever read

No 039 update for T-mobile UK K850i.

Just a quick question - when I previously tried to update my firmware to 038 about a month ago, I received the message saying, "No Update Available", or something along those lines. Now when I try and update I receive the message saying, "Update is not needed. The latest software is already installed", with the option to "continue anyway".

Hi,

Yes this is normal. The K850i screen uses a different LCD screen technology.

I Think you are wrong. for example esato told me on the clock tha i was posted at 1:21h (this is GMT London Time) but my city is yet 22:21h. So if you posted at 02:02h Zulu time like it says above seen whats your local time the diference is your time zone. I think Holland is GMT time or GMT + 1 time.

Lol, the new firmware will be released at 14-02-2008 14:14 Zulu time aka Valentine's day. Valentine's Day is a saints day commemorating Saint Valentine on February 14. It is the traditional day on which lovers express their love for each other; sending Valentine's cards, donating to charity or gifting candy. It is very common to present flowers on Valentine's Day. The holiday is named after two men, both Christian martyrs among the numerous Early Christian martyrs named Valentine. The day became associated with romantic love in the circle of Geoffrey Chaucer in High Middle Ages, when the tradition of courtly love flourished.
