The problem that you are having Anna, really depends on the network. There is not much that you can do about that.

Hello every1 what it is? Still loving Esato! Best site ever, but can be better: 1 wap2.0 surfing, "help" doesnt work in z600, 2 "Search" neither works. 3 can a jump 2 page # be implemented 4 long threads like this, Please! Its hard 2 search 4 answers 2 questions i have in order 2 solve my problem. Just got my girl, wife, a k700i and my god i havent loved a phone since my T39m,bless its spark! Trying 2 setup Fido Wap, Gprs. Tried going online using z600 as modem but drops every 6 seconds!? Can any1 help? |

Sorry didnt mean 2 come off as rude. Have been a member since the good old days. And wanting more 4 the future of Esato. Gotta buy the s710a now if its sweet like the k700. Worse off, my wife using it on PayGo! Lol, still had 2 get her the best quality phone, u know theres only 1 solution! Oh yeah thanks 2 whom left Fido MMS settings on page 22! |

That's telling you to set up MMS. Go to the phone menu messaging, mms(picture), options. Edit the settings of message server and wap profile.

Hiya,
I have a 802SE, I want to use it in Vancouver, BC. Probably with Fido or Rogers I suppose. Anyways I wish to use text messaging on this phone. I 'think' that with a stock 802SE(branded to voda) you can not change any of the mail settings, so I'd probably have to flash it to an unbranded firmware so I can enter in the server settings. Does this sound correct? As of yet this is my plan but I have not done this yet.
I think it would kind of suck to get this phone and it can't even send text messages. Forgive my lack of knowledge on such things!

As far as text messaging goes, dont you simply have to change the sms service center #? And I'm pretty sure that number is pre-configured on your SIM card...then again I might be wrong, I'm not a firmware whiz...
