@gelfen - Good morning mate In commemoration of your Mom's 1st year death anniversary . . . my sincerest condolences - back there On a bad note also, we are about to have my Aunt's 9th day death observance tomorrow - Wednesday Looks like this thread is full of sad happenings: deaths, break-ups etc. I hope the December wedding will take it's toll to 'balance' up things here mate - happy/positive news that is!

well, a busy weekend coming up. final meeting with the architect, indoor rock climbing, out to dinner for both sides of the bridal party to actually meet each other, suit fittings and probably take in a movie too!

THANKS SWITCH!

i must say however, your presence has been kinda scarce since you so generously decided to give me a place to call my own.

@gelfen - Try watching the movie - 'Father of the Bride I & II', it's an ideal movie for couples who plans to wed and start a new family

@switchbitch - Good luck in your new place & job mate !

@switch: i hope the move has been successful.

still waiting on the quotes from the builders...

at least the plans have been approved by the developer now, and the suits are booked for the wedding.

...still sore from my indoor rock climbing experience too.

thats bad luck. hope you're ok!

who are you insured with? I have been with AAMI for years and years and have their free lifetime full no claims protection and they really did everything for me when I got rear ended a couple of years back. They were great!

i'm with RACV, but the other guy was at fault (since i was completely stationary at a t-intersection) and admitted as much. at least he is also insured. tomorrow i'm off to get repair quotes and hopefully a courtesy car *wishful thinking*, and i'll just let the two insurance companies duke it out at high-noon.

oh, and i seem to be uninjured.

thats what I mean. with AAMI I didn't do a single thing except take the still driveable car to their depot. They got the quotes, they dealt with the other insurance (becaue I was not at fault), they got me a hire car and the next thing I heard about it was 3 days later when my car was ready to be picked up with a new bumper.

I can really recommend AAMI for the way they dealt with it all and the way I didn't have to do a single thing.
