what was i thinking?
few days ago, i set a password in mpe, and now i can not remeber it.
i've tried several combination of my daily used pass without luck.
i've tried to unninstall the program, i've cleaned the registry, still without success.
is there any way to unlock my phone browsing? (w/o reinstalling win)

Can some1 explain me why while im trying to connect to myphoneexplorer its sayin unable to connect com1 bla bla  I reinstalled it many times and stuff... and it still doesnt work (( |

Do you have the latest version installed? Then select from the menu File > Options > Connection tab > Search device button. MPE will then start Search and then display and set the correct COM port settings and max baudrate.
While doing this you naturally have to have either USB-cable connected or Bluetooth activated. |

Unfortunately, I believe we need to. The sms pop-up is one of the things that MPE doesnot have yet. (Or at least that's what I think)

now its giving me a new error.. but it only comes up whenever i try and get into viewing my camera photos..
'OBEX Errorcode: 00 - Phone didn't answer'
'The filelist could not be loaded'
Everything else pretty much works.. but this is the feature I would like to use most and it doesn't seem to want to work |

I'm having problems downloading games onto my j300i. It worked well b4, but now it jus freezes up on me, causing me to restart my computer. Is there anyother software to install games besides this one? Or does ne1 have a solution. |

this is my com port list.. when i load up MyPhnoneExplorer neither COM1 or COM3 works (3 is USB) i tryed BAUD 115200 and 9600 and 460800 with no effect. what can i do?
it says it doesnt find the phone.. when i do a search... but the latest sony software is installed. |

i've found out how to reset the password in mpe in case that you have forgot it.
but i cannot post the answer, since is from one of the moderators of the official forum in a private message.

Hi m8s..
i have a W800, and i had the MPE on my PC (windows xp), it worked really great but i was busy for a month and now when i am trying to use it again (using the cable just like before), i did not work, so i removed it from the control panel and installed it again from "http://members.aon.at/fwechsel/en/index.html", but still not working, it keeps giving me the following error "This application was failed to start because MSVBVM60.DLL was not found. Re-intalling the application may fix the problem."
i tried re-installing it many times but with no luck so far
can anyone help me please?! i am not really good in computers so appreciate if you take it easy on me.

i have a problem with my phone and Myphoneexplorer. When i connect my phone (SE W800i) and i start to make somethin' in my phone explorer my mouse go crazy and move very very slow i cannot make anything almost. Someone else experience this ? |

@ simahima, have you tried to uninstall MPE totally? also deleting the MPE folder in the program files that is.
@sfantul: nope, my mpe is working seamlessly.
