"Sony Ericsson predict their handsets to sport 20 MP cameras, Full HD video recording, and XGA displays in four years"
I got it from mobile-review.com. It's one of the feature news for today. Is it any true? I hope so. |

Ya thats in FOUR years...which is like an eternity when it comes to technology.
Samsung already has 10 MP camera phones, some japanese phone is pretty close to XGA (1024x480), and there is 720x480 video recording.
If you fail to plan, you plan to fail. |

Either you or mobile-review.com got it wrong, it's what Ericsson predicts, not
and are two different companies. |

I would also like to take this moment to thank the success of the 2008 thread by goldenface and to congratulate Oli, the new beginnings of the 2009 thread. As I stated earlier, the Keitai thread and the new 2009 thread will be working closely together in terms of Sony Ericsson Japan news, rumors, and developments. |

Hi guys, thanks for the comments.
I've had a couple of extra days off work so been enjoying a long weekend, hence the short absence, but things will be back to normal next week when we can say goodbye to the 2008 rumours thread.
I just need to check with Oli that he's ready to go and I'm really excited to see what he has in store for the new thread - I'm sure he'll do a fantastic job and I know he's been working on the layout and appearance already so its in good hands.
Running the 2008 Rumours thread has been great fun, however, I would like to share in the disappointments to those guys who had been expecting a lot more from SE this year.
With the Symbian Foundation in its infancy, canceled phones and the global economy not being at its best I think we can all say that 2008 hasn't exactly gone smoothly.
So until then, roll on 2009 and I'm sure a lot of lessons will have been learnt from 2008 and next year will see some cracking hardware coming our way.
There have been some great contributors and posters to this thread and I hope most have enjoyed it as much as I have.
