its a wrap, 1157 pages, and the pain, torture is over! ah onto newer greener pastures, Oli ... i suspect youve already gotten enough information to start the 2009 rumors thread, creative name, that will last a year maybe more, but i have a feeling that well have to wait for 2Q for a better series of phones from SE maybe 2010! but they will be back if they can float on ... into the future. |

The latest annoucement of previous years were not for high end new phones, but for low to mid phones on the market in Q1 of the next year.
So no real surprise for me. |

no SE phones for NTT DoCoMo this winter
whoever tipped that there would be so907i should double check their source
first off the model number is wrong
secondly they've made it almost clear that they're not supplying NTT with anything till 2009 back in summer
as for Yamada (NTT), here's what he said at teh press conf this morning
"今後もしっかりSEと付き合っていく。私がコメントすることではないが、SE側は世界市場向けの機種という方向性ではないか"
We will be working closely with SE. I cannot comment [on your enquiry about the lack of SE models in the winter lineup] SE is perhaps working on other models for non-Japanese markets.
(that being said, he hasn't said anything, but only to confirm that SE should have new stuff in 2009, which is not surprising, SE jp said that themselves ?2 weeks ago) |

Yes, I picked up on that rumour a few weeks back and posted it in the Keitai Corner thread.
The SO907i I took from a Japanese blogger who posted a picture of that funny P-series type device patent and linked it to the SO907i but it ended up being posted on the internet as the next SO907i.

I know I'm hoping for too much but it would be a really nice surprise if they were to announce something high end tomorrow, say, a high end symbian smartphone.

what’s more?
- 4 GB M2 and HPM-77 included to go with the CLEAR audio experience
- YouTube application
- Chat view for messaging
- Rika will probably be the first (don’t count X1, J132) to feature 3.5 mm audio jack
- The price is probably about the same as W595 when launch!

HPM-77 and 3.5mm jack exclude each other. Kev should know better. |
