before i bought the w910i (because the speed of my p1i was terrible and I wanted a thinner phone) I was looking forward for Hikaru.
Anyway I think it won't be that phone I wanted.
8mp, 8gb and a slide with touchdisplay......don't want a phone with 20mm in my bag......
but the first specs are very nice

To me its just the fact that its taking far far too long. The X1 is great. Yep. But you cant have high end without going for WM. That can make the choice very bad for some. |

The last rumours of Hikaru we heard was that it was a slider but had no d-pad but Paris did have one.
Does Hikaru have a d-pad?

The Hikaru rumours are a bit confusing.
One rumours points at it being a Walkman device, however, at the same time it it supposed to have a qwerty of some sort (e.g. Paris).
Qwerty's are normally associated with business devices so I'm none the wiser I guess.

Simple, in my opinion: Xperia. The X1 is already the blending of multimedia (3.5mm jack et al) and business (QWERTY), so Hikaru as the next X-series phone would make perfect sense.
Frankly, I wouldn't be surprised if xell's PS isn't too far off the mark.
