Protecting you from hackers. The IP I get from the my ISP is 195.xxx.xxx.xxx but with the proxy when it's getting out to the internet it's 213.xxx.xxx.xxx , so a nOOb hacker will only see the 213.xxx.xxx.xxx one wich is secured by the ISP, blocked and stealths ports. |

oh i see, wouldn't a firewall do this as well though? let out a fake IP address which leads to no-where ???

No a firewall is just protecting your computer, it blocks and hides some ports but it's not changing your IP

For spamming ofcorse. I think he told you that couple of posts ago.
I think there should be a limit on how long peoples usernames can be because it is realy anoying when things like that apear.
